Improve the visible signs of ageing with this high-potency serum that works to repair, regenerate and rejuvenate. Retinol (a derivative of vitamin A) boosts cell turnover, encourages skin renewal and supports increased collagen content in the dermis; meaning that the skin is more elastic and wrinkles are smoother. Meanwhile, this wonder-ingredient also targets dark spots, dullness and blemishes, promotes healing and works to unify and brighten the skin’s surface. Ceramides replenish natural lipids and help to fortify the skin’s barrier, while moisture-boosting squalane helps to restore suppleness and neutralise damage caused by UV light. Niacinamide helps to balance sebum production, diminish large pores and reduce skin discolouration. Antioxidant vitamins C and E scavenge free radicals and protect the cells from damaging pollution and other environmental stressors. Deeply penetrating pro-vitamin B5 advances hydration and helps to reduce inflammation, as mildly astringent zinc lends a soothing effect and calms redness. How to Use
Start by using 2/3 evenings a week, leaving at least 48 hours between each application. Build up to 5 times per week and on the 3rd week, start to use every evening. Should you experience peeling or skin purging from the increased cell turnover, we advise that you space out usage.
Apply 1-2 pumps to cleansed and toned skin, ensuring the skin is completely dry. Use light pressing movements over the face and neck. Avoid the eye area. Ideally, do not follow with any other product but if your skin needs moisturisation, wait for at least 2 hours before applying your moisturiser. In this instance, use BeautyLab® Overnight Repair Beauty Cream for best results. Cleanse the following morning.
